Turnaround time is the number of days between an order being placed and when it ships.
These graphs show the AVERAGE TURNAROUND TIME for the given period.
Some Orders are completed and shipped in less time, others take longer. This number represents the average.
This is the age of the oldest order which is still in production.
There are two factors which affect order age. Backlog and Quality Control.
Sometimes (especially after a sale) we get more orders than we can complete in a day. In these cases, an order may wait a few days before we start working on it. If we have a surprise sale (ex. Valentines day) we may continue processing normal orders FIFO, and use remaining capacity on sale items.
The other factor for frame age is QC. We are fanatical about the quality of our frames. We won't ship a frame unless it's perfect. Sometimes that means we have to repaint or remake the frame - this can contribute to a slower turnaround.
